At the heart of any large-scale production are precision machines and complex blueprints, but above all, the people who bring them to life. However, the journey of a successful professional begins long before a young specialist’s first day on the job—it starts right in the classroom.
Over the past month, we had the pleasure of participating in a series of inspiring events alongside our long-standing partners from the “Nikola Yonkov Vaptsarov” Technical High School in Vratsa. We joined forces to show young people that a career in engineering is full of opportunities, challenges, and purpose.
Tomorrow’s Engineers
There’s nothing more valuable than face-to-face interaction. Our team visited the school for an open and honest conversation with the students. Between the classroom walls, we discussed real-world technological case studies, answered their questions, and saw that special sparkle in the eyes of the young people who are just beginning to discover the thrill of their future profession. For us, this meeting was much more than just a presentation—it was an opportunity to hear what excites future engineers and to reassure them that their ideas have a place in the real world of industry.
Developing Potential
As a long-standing partner of the high school in the dual education program, it was an honor for us to support their Open House Event. Dual education serves as that vital bridge between theory and practice. During the event, we showed motivated students that their efforts today have a clear path to tomorrow—in a modern, safe, and evolving work environment where they can reach their full potential.
Experts, Students, and Parents—Moving Forward Together
Choosing a career is not a decision young people make on their own—parents are a key factor in this process. The “From 7th Grade to Engineer” forum provided an invaluable platform for open discussion among businesses, students, and their families. We discussed the challenges, the expectations, and how dual education develops not just workers, but fully-fledged professionals. When parents, the education system, and employers are all moving forward in one unified direction, the success of young people is guaranteed.
The Engine of the Machine
Responsible work requires precision, but every well-functioning system needs a soul. The month culminated in the first-of-its-kind “Mechano-Party,” where the Lesto Product team gathered with the students, their friends, and teachers in a completely informal setting. Laughter, music, and shared moments—this event reminded us that behind the complex CAD/CAM programs and CNC machines are people who know how to work hard, but also how to celebrate their successes together.
A Partnership with a Vision for the Future
We believe that the path from the classroom to actual production doesn’t have to be steep. Together with the N. Y. Vaptsarov Technical High School, we continue to build an environment where knowledge is encouraged, efforts are rewarded, and every young talent can find their place in the modern industry.
