QUALITY, ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY OF LESTOP RODUCT EOOD

Lesto Product EOOD is an organization that designs and manufactures metal products through a range of mechanical operations, including laser cutting, punching, and combined sheet metal processing, followed by subsequent steps such as bending, welding, coating, and bonding, and concluding with the application of powder-polymer coating, has set the following strategic goals:
- To continuously improve the quality of manufactured products and optimize costs by introducing new, modern, and energy-efficient technologies, as a guarantee of certain success and confidence in establishing and strengthening customer trust;
- To continuously improve its operations with a view to protecting the environment, mitigating climate impact, and ensuring occupational health and safety while fulfilling the relevant compliance obligations;
- To maintain and develop the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety in accordance with the requirements of applicable standards and current climate change trends;
- To ensure employment and responsibly manage the company’s capital.
This policy is aimed at developing all the organization’s activities, processes, and products in a manner that ensures compliance with product quality requirements, environmental protection, resilience to climate change, and the protection of the health of employees and external contractors, while adhering to the following management commitments:
- To fully meet customer requirements and achieve compliance with applicable standards governing the quality characteristics, durability, and eco-design of the products we manufacture in a dynamically changing environment.
- To expand the organization’s market share and strengthen its image as an organization committed to environmental protection, reducing the carbon intensity of production, and ensuring occupational health and safety.
- To continuously improve all aspects of our operations by maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with partners and external contractors, including with regard to the environmental sustainability of the supply chain.
- We provide the necessary training and foster personal accountability for quality, environmental protection, climate risks, and occupational health and safety.
- We identify and periodically assess risks related to core processes, the environment, occupational health and safety, and climate change—such as extreme heat waves and disruptions in resource supply.
- We improve working conditions by minimizing risks to staff, contractors, and other stakeholders who may be exposed to health and safety risks associated with the organization’s activities, processes, products, and services, including risks arising from extreme weather events and changes in the microclimate.
- To minimize and, where possible, prevent environmental pollution and the risk of workplace accidents by adopting general and specific goals, programs, and measures to reduce the carbon footprint of our operations.
- To improve environmental protection by controlling air pollution, monitoring greenhouse gas emissions, and practicing sustainable waste management;
- To strive to prevent environmental impacts and potential illnesses and injuries associated with accidents and emergencies by maintaining a high level of preparedness and response capability for emergencies, including those caused by hazardous weather events (storms, floods, fires, critical power outages);
- To maintain full compliance with environmental, climate change, and occupational health and safety regulations relevant to the organization’s activities, processes, and products;
- To strive for economical and energy-efficient use of natural, energy, and other resources;
- To strive for the reuse and recycling of generated waste, as well as its proper recovery and disposal, supporting the transition to a circular economy;
- To monitor and measure the key characteristics of processes and activities that have a significant impact on the environment, climate factors, and occupational health and safety;
- Actively cooperate with authorized environmental protection agencies, occupational health and safety regulatory bodies, climate-related institutions, and all stakeholders in managing activities related to product quality, environmental protection, and occupational health and safety;
- Ensure processes for consulting with and involving workers in the identification of risks, including those related to changes in the microclimate and the work environment.
The requirements of the Integrated Management System related to customer service, environmental protection, climate change resilience, occupational health and safety, employee motivation and training, as well as the work of partners and suppliers, ensure the interests of all stakeholders are protected.
The management of LEST PRODUCT EOOD calls on the organization’s employees to apply the principles and requirements arising from this policy on quality, the environment, and occupational health and safety, and to adhere to them when setting specific goals for sustainable development and decarbonization.
The application of these principles and the personal responsibility of each individual, as well as compliance with the requirements arising from the implemented Integrated Management System, are the obligation of all employees.
All external contractors and raw material suppliers to the organization are urged to comply with the management’s commitments stated in this policy by ensuring full traceability and minimizing the environmental and carbon footprint of the materials and services they provide.
