Easter with a Cause!

This Easter was more than a holiday for us – it was an opportunity to do something meaningful for the people around us. At Lesto Product, we believe that a business has a responsibility not only to create value through its products, but also to contribute to the development of the community in which we live and work. That is why this year we organized a charitable initiative with three social care services in Vratsa – two Centers for Family-Type Accommodation (CFTAs) for children and young people, and one home for elderly people.

We visited:

  • “Zora” Elderly Care Home – Vratsa
  • CFTA for children and young people – Old Market area, Vratsa
  • CFTA for children and young people – near “Hristo Botev” Square, Vratsa

In the centers for children and young people (aged between 7 and 15, as well as teenagers up to 18), we were welcomed with smiles, energy, and genuine curiosity. The children showed us their daily lives, and we tried to bring a bit of Easter spirit into theirs.

As part of the initiative, we distributed traditional Easter bread (kozunak), sweets, and essential supplies. But the greatest joy for the children came from the books. They were donated with the support of the “KniginiAssociation , with whom we partnered specifically for this cause. The interest was immediate – the children browsed through the books, exchanged titles, and simply did not want to put them down.

We also visited the “ZoraElderly Care Home in Vratsa, where the experience was different, yet just as inspiring. There, we learned something that truly made us smile – people continue to fall in love and even get married. It reminded us of something important: love has no age.

We also donated something that will remain beyond the holiday – metal decorative Easter eggs with traditional Bulgarian embroidery motifs. They were produced by our team and placed in the yards of all three locations. In the two children’s centers, they blended naturally into the environment, as the fences were already painted with traditional patterns. The children were especially excited about the decorations and actively took part in placing them, creating a beautiful combination of tradition, environment, and community.

This initiative is part of Lesto Product’s broader mission – to contribute to a more connected, supportive, and sustainable society. We believe that small actions matter, especially when they are directed toward people who need care and attention.

For us, this is not a one-time act, but a direction we aim to follow long-term.

We would like to thank everyone from our team who participated actively in this initiative, as well as ‘’Knigini’’ Association for the donated books. 💛
